Operated either pneumatically or hydraulically, the TENTRONIX300 series offers the highest standard of anti-ramming and security protection. Taking as little as 2 seconds to reach the fully raised position, these bollards can be used in the most demanding locations where high-volume traffic flows must be managed. The TENTRONIX300 bollards are often combined with light arm barriers to provide maximum deterrence and safety. With a hard-wearing stainless steel finish, the bollards are engineered to meet the DOS and PAS standards for anti-ramming and are used extensively to protect sensitive government and military locations as well as civilian compounds. When powered by TENTRONIX's innovative pneumatic system, the bollards can be operated at very high speeds and when combined with a light arm, the air pressure can be used to simply and accurately synchronize with other elements in the system. The use of air pressure also significantly reduces the wear and tear on the components and provides years of maintenance free use.

With a patent-pending mechanism for releasing the internal piston, the bollards can be maintained without disassembly and if necessary, the entire unit can be removed without the need for digging out the foundations.

TENTRONIX's T-Series cable barriers are constructed to provide the highest level of protection against ramming. In the event of an attempt to break through the barrier, the cables, which are hidden in the body of the gate arms, capture the chassis of the vehicle and transfer the energy of the moving vehicle to the concrete anchors. These anchors, which can be surface mounted or below surface, then wrap around the vehicle and bring it to a complete halt.

Engineered to meet both the US DOS and UK PAS standards, the unique T-Series anti-ramming design has been proven in the field against threats including terror and theft. The T-Series barriers are installed across the world and are the de-facto standards for drop arm barrier solutions for the security services and military in a number of countries. The unique and innovative T100 spike system was developed with the specific aim of bringing a vehicle to a halt without harming passengers. Designed to rip tires apart and even withstand the latest generation of run-flat tires, the T100 has been proven in the field as a particularly effective solution for border crossings and locations where vehicles pass at high speed.

Pneumatically operated and typically synchronized with a light arm barrier, the T100 system comprises a set of hollow spikes which cross the entire width of the lane. When the barrier is down, the spikes are locked in the raised position and when the barrier is raised, the spikes are lowered into the ground allowing cars to pass over safely.

The hollow spikes have been engineered to ensure that a vehicle will be disabled irrespective of the approach direction. The height and width of the spikes have been specifically designed to rip apart both small private vehicle tires and large commercial vehicle tires. Even run-flat tires which use either the solid wall or wheel band method, are similarly disabled by this system which is particularly ruthless in its ability to shred a tire and damage the wheel.Suitable for all weather conditions, the spike system incorporates a self-cleaning mechanism and drainage.

Road blockers are designed especially for entrance points which have a threat of vehicle attack or for the ones that have high security requirements. If there is a threat of vehicle attack in addition to the control of vehicle access in high security applications, hydraulic road blockers are the unique solution and the most secure systems. Even though the attack is from high tonnage vehicles with high speeds, it's not possible for the vehicle to keep on moving because of the damage given to front, wheels and the bottom of the vehicle. Optima road blockers are designed to K12 standards. Finite element model analyses are available upon request. Drive unit is electro-hydraulic, but in case of power failure road blocker can be lowered or lifted manually with the help of hand pump. Typical raise/lower time is 3 seconds. In case of emergency, raise/lower time can be as low as 1.5 seconds. With the help of PLC (programmable logic control), raise/lower function can be achieved by every kind of card readers, biometric readers like fingerprint or hand shape, radio control, on/off key switch etc. Besides, safety accessories like photocells, inductive loop detectors, flashing lights or red/green traffic lights can be integrated to the system very easily. Typical weight of a road blocker is 2-2.5 tons (depending on road blocker type).
